Muppet Liz Lemon.
Yes.

I’m looking through photos from last year’s trip to Seattle. That’s when I fell in love with the Seattle Public Library.
I don’t often reblog song lyrics but this just happens to be one of my most favourite songs.

Silas used to work for the University of Saskatchewan’s On Campus News, a publication of news and events for staff and/or faculty. I used to get a copy in my mailbox every two weeks when I worked at the Women’s Centre and my favourite section, hands down, was the Campus Incidents column in which Campus Security reports incidents occurring on campus. Usually it was reports of people caught not wearing seat belts, running stop signs, bicycle thefts, and rowdy parties broken up.
We still get OCN mailed to our place here in Victoria because Silas’ former boss put us on the subscription list. Browsing through the Campus Incidents section this morning revealed this:
Oct 26-Nov 1:
• A person reported damage to her vehicle after she was forced to swerve off the road near Goodale Farm to prevent hitting a university cow that was loose on the road.
Oh, Saskatchewan! I love you.

A recipe for homemade Sriracha (rooster) sauce.
I’m pretty excited about this.
This is pretty timely as Silas made some easy baked tofu tonight and this exchange occurred.
Silas: Jen. Serious news.
Jen: What is it?
Silas: We’re out of siracha sauce.
Jen: [look of disappointment]
SIlas: I know.
